Who Is Turn Leaf? Elisabeth W. Galperin, Owner Professional Organizer I started Turn Leaf in 2007, after many years of organizing my personal environments & those of friends and family. I came to the realization that organizing was not only an interest or hobby, but a personal strength & skill I could put to use, helping others. I have a background in speech language pathology, with training to work with children & adults with Attention Deficit Disorder, Learning Disabilities & Language Disorders. This experience has helped me understand the connection between learning styles & organization; to develop a true understanding of the process behind organized thinking; and to help others think & learn in an organized manner, to create true organization in their lives.
Why Turn Leaf? The name of my business came from the idea of turning over a new leaf. If you are at a point in your life - personally and/or professionally - and feel that it is time to make some changes, to streamline your life, and to get a fresh start, you are ready to work with a professional organizer. Individuals seek my help as a professional organizer for a variety of reasons, including:
* Personal time constraints * A resolve to improve or change one's living space or working environment * A need for education regarding time management, budgeting, creating personal systems of organizing * Moving: packing to leave one's house, and/or setting up in a new home * Need for a Home Inventory * Needs in the areas of Attention Deficit, Learning Disabilities, Time Management
